Ah! I do relish in other's gardens! We've been in our house for 3 years now, and have 2 little raised beds but I have plans for more (something like that blackberry & strawberry setup you've got!) We planted a honeycrisp and a hedelfingen cherry tree in the spring so I'm curious to see how those turn out.

hey, you will get there. it takes time and you will find yourself cxonstanly changing things..it is inevidable..hahah:p...just like our setups for our chickens..haha, always changing!!
we had a sweet cherry..it unfortunately got a 'borrer' and killed the tree, we were able to save the apple and peach..thank goodness! we are looking into getting more trees, it does pay to invest ingood stock from the beging, a blearner from experience;)...good luck with your green thumb!!
Three might be out now. I did not see it until I was rolling over pip number two. It was almost done zipping at that point. It has been about 15 minutes, and was resting a minute ago when I looked.
Pip number two was doing fine… Until I got involved. I think it was starting to zip, but did not see that until I was removing some more shell. I decided that since it was pip down for a while, I should be sure it was breathing okay. I know better than to do something like that. That did not stop me. I am sure it will be okay though. I have not killed one that I have assisted yet.

oh Abi...hoping for the best:fl

Pips, no more out. I've never had one die after it hatched. One is dead. One is looking bad. Not sure which they are, so I won't make guesses. One light. The rest are dark.
