They are in OC Md for the week. We brought the dogs to our Erie camp for the weekend and they will go home with us and stay for the rest of the week.

The moms are happy with me today. No concern was shown when I was in there, even when I was moving the wall for them to come out. They came to the door, but then went back again. Maybe the others were too much too soon. I gave them scratch and meal worms. They were happy.

Ana had another baby hatch out overnight, 3 days late. Her last egg is a quitter so it looks like she only has 2 babies to raise. I know she'll be leaving the nest soon. I'll get pictures then

I moved 41 chickens from my largest hoop house into their permanent breeding pens today. And moved 40 younger ones into the hoop house for growing out. I can't believe how nice they all look, raising on grass is really good for them.

Awesome! Yeah, I agree, the sooner on grass, the better!

So adorable! And convenient! They do such a good job with their little chicks.

Neighbor's cat just chilling with the chickens. I stopped chasing him out. Mostly he hunts squirrels. Sometimes when he's wild he will chase the girls but mostly it's peaceful

Haha! When I first saw that picture, it looked like a dead animal. That's good that they all get along. Cats only seemed to be a problem her when the chips where young. They never bothered my LF hens.

I think it helps that he was raised with the chickens this spring. I had four and they have four. I did worry some when I put the younger group out and he started to hang out with them.
