Miss Maple looks like a real sweetheart!....our two barred rocks are so affectionate too, really something to have a chicken be that "cuddly", the rest of the flock is "look but don't try to touch, unless we are in the mist of laying"...then we take full advantage of them!..hahaha, oh my, that didn't sound right...
I love the penciled pattern too, so gorgeous! My Barred Rock is my friendliest also. She comes when I call her.
. That was funny! I "take advantage" too, especially when they are broody. 
Does anyone have any contacts of someone who rents goats for land clearing? I have a feeling it would be very helpful. Figured I'd ask here first, before I tried to do it by hand.
Ana is a silver penciled rock, courtesy of @fisherlady. I had a broody hen last year who's eggs were duds and she had a couple newly hatched chicks that she shared with me for my broody to raise. Ana, I'm guessing got her broodiness from her crazy flock of continuous broodies lol. This is her second clutch this year and she might just be a year old now, I think lol
