Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I moved to NY this week, and find it's a great place for me. Many colleagues have their own small farms. I don't get the weird looking that I used to get when telling people I have chickens. We can sit there talking about all kinds of animals. Even better yet, I'll travel back to PA almost every month so I will meet family and friends and my chickens frequently.

Huh. Interesting. I thought it was heat (+17* heat index) or stress. My sister is making him the man of the house in a big way.
I am very sure that was/is not at all helpful.
Hoping he gets to rest and recover well.

I had this problem when I was a teenager. I was perfectly health, but passed out if I get up too fast. I no longer have this problem after I turned 20. Must be some young kid's issue.

It can happen to all ages, seems we see it (in my experience) more often in teens and elderly...I think some people's systems are just more prone to it and it is made worse by dehydration, exaustion or medications or infection/illness interfering in the body's natural mechanisms.
