Yup! I thought I was "all that" for having trios of all the kinds of Rocks. I thought FL was calling Partridge by the wrong name. It's funny that I now have them.
Crazy? No. They are pretty sweet broodies.

Does anyone know where I can get some white egg laying hens my neighbors said they would pay for a white egg laying hen feed and all if I would keep it but I haven't been able to find any and didn't know if anyone knows anyone with any maybe white leghorns but I don't want anything over 1 year of age. Thank you

I walked out to the coop earlier today and Tiny walked up to the door, looked at me and squatted allll the way down while I was about a foot away.

I do not know anyone as I have just returned from afar, I have only brown egg layers-sorry.....but it does sound like a pretty sweet deal there!
I have had family offer me to pay for raising meat chicks,all their supplies(food) and yes..They would want us to process..of course, all packaged-up and grocery store looking.
