Good afternoon all:

One of my neighbors left this next to my mail box.....

Love IT!! Neighbors can be awesome. Not working on anything poultry wise these days, all my juveniles hatched this year (with the exception of one cross breed) have been wiped out and I'm not hatching. I still have the BCMs, White Marans and Partridge Orpingtons along with 2 turkeys.

Family stuff is still a bit overwhelming. When things settle I'll have to contact DHetzel for some green and blue layers. Have none left and I like a colorful basket (who doesn't?)

Hope everything will smooth out soon for you.

Someone drove 2 hours to get our coop. He has 4 chickens now and plans to add more chickens and ducks. He also took our dog house to convert to a duck house. He has 14 acers and a pond. I'm really glad the coop will be used for a happy flock there.

I'm sorry it's been a rough year :( you'll definitely need some colored layers. How have your turkeys been doing? What did you end up with?

We had 6 people came to look at it today. 4 of them said that they will take it. This gettleman own his own landscape business and love the coop so much, he actually let his team stop work early and drove 2 hours from Somerset to get it. I just so glad it will get a good use. And hubby really happy about someone appreciates his work. Everyone is happy about this deal. Win, win!

Gracie had her latest group out and about and Pidgy just hatched hers yesterday...

What kind of hen is that in the last pic? And if I had the room in the coop I would ask for eggs but Sally just sent me some of her eggs.
