Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I would have to discuss that with the others but I would think a pack of bubblegum and a cup of coffee should cover it.

I can handle that.

or pictures of baby chicks will be accepted!

These are my youngest ones at the moment. Momma Clara hatched them about a month ago. I have 19 Serama eggs and 2 bantam cochin eggs in the incubator right now, and 6 Serama eggs under my broody Serama. Day 5 today for them all :)

Baby chick pics are the way to all of our hearts!

Where in WV are you?

Awesome! I take tons of pics :D

I'm in Parkersburg (north-eastern side of WV, close to Ohio River), but my hubby travels to our eastern panhandle every couple of weeks for business, and zips thru part of western PA, so I figured if I had some connections in PA, I can always have him to pick stuff up for me. ;) And I have a sister that lives near Philly :clap

Who here is processing their own turkey for Thanksgiving? Should I be looking for a local free ranged bird, or just stick with cheap supermarket turkey?

We were going to process our own for Thanksgiving but now we're heading up to the in laws so he'll be for Christmas instead. The turkey we processed was phenominal last year. I definitely prefer a home raised bird now.
