Thanks! Thankfully the Craigslist paint was a nice color as well as a deal! $50 for 5 gallon bucket of very good quality paint.

Do I three girls laying? The one egg looks a little green! Maybe one of them is Stake's girls? Stake, are your Marans CCL mixes laying yet? This other egg was hidden in a pile of hay, and looks like a soft beautiful green. :D

The fox got all the girls and all but one of the boys....if any of my big girls were laying, I'd be hatching,,,,so I am waiting on some silkie eggs but the seller put them in the mail on a friday morning and they are going to sit in a usps warehouse all day Sunday....grrrr....

@dheltzel. Does that greenish egg look familiar to you? Any idea of which butt it came out of?

Not sure. It could be from a Legbar. The blue egg layers sometimes have some greenish tint to their eggs, People differ about whether that is bad or not. I rather like a turquois egg, but would try to select for brighter blues if I have a choice.
