Mornin beautiful hows baby girl?

Quote: yes sara has them, I hatched a batch of GFF years ago and gifted to sara, and she was fairly addicted to them and last year gifted me some eggs back from her flock. She gave me a roo but he is not fertile unfortunately, I would love to find an outside source.

Some people are breeding Tolbunts to another color that is genetically close. Might have been gold lace or something. I don't recall the genotype of tolbunt, but it's pretty well understood, and an outcross to the related color could improve them. Ideally, you find someone already doing that and buy some eggs from them to get a few generations closer to tolbunt.

My Silkie hopped off the nest this morning, so maybe she is not broody, but practicing. No problem either way! I will be getting my eggs from @Auroradream26 today to put under my original broody. I also have 3 (maybe 4) Midget white eggs to put under her also. @dheltzel , so you thin she can cover 11 turkey eggs? I think 9 might be her max, I might have to not use my two older eggs.

Acting like a 2-year-old! She can get quite sassy and uses the "B" word properly. As well as a few others. Love the family for teaching her to swear and misbehave.
Potty training is going okay. I just folded her first real pair of panties.

It's hard to say, give her all of them and see if she can flatten herself out to cover them all. They move them from out to in to turn them and keep them evenly warm. After a week, they are easy to candle and you can remove the infertile ones.
