Haha, @dheltzel, just found this screenshot I had saved before. You called it a few months ago. Well done!
LOL. Those chicks are pretty easy to pick out. Muffs mean Ameraucana if they are from eggs you got from me (or @Auroradream26 ). The chipmunk stripes rules out black or lavenders, and the white instead of gold/brown indicates a silver-based color pattern.
I think Silver Ameraucanas are among the cutest of all the chicks I hatch.

We lost a cow last night. It happened so fast. Luckily
HAHAHAH! I currently don't have any. We are getting ready to move to our homestead and we are still undecided about which breeds would be best for our family. We have 2 small children so docile is preferred. I know my kids want at least 1 Silkie but I've heard mixed things about them being able to tolerate the cold weather we get. We are open to ideas tho ;)

As long as they stay dry they should be okay. We love ours. I'm up in Erie and have some extra babies in a brooder right now lol. And Wyandottes, barred rock, Speckled Sussex, Welsumers,..... I have a bit of a problem lol.

Good to know thank you! You aren't far from me I'm in Warren.

We dont know. We think it was sick when we bought it. The other one was super healthy then got sick with the one that died and bounced back and is doing great again. So something contagious I'm guessing. Didnt even have time to call vet.

:frow Hellooo chicken people.

Posting from Montgomery County in Southeast PA.

We currently have 2 RIR, a Buff Orp, a Buttercup, and an EE (accidental) rooster, all almost 7 months old. Recently lost 2 girls to a fox (going to wear that guy). We are looking to add to our flock now or soon, so the new girls will be lay-ready for Spring.

Glad to have a place for my bird babble from now on.

I'm sorry that you lost a few but we know who can fill up your coop to max. .... @dheltzel is in SE PA and ALWAYS has a ton of babies looking for homes.

Welcome! I am in Bucks county over here. X2 on what Auroradream said. Dheltzel has a great selection of cool birds.

Tonight, my teeny Silkie chicken (broody mama) CHARGED at my dog (a 60 lb. pit bull)! I have seen her attack when the dog gets too close, but this time he ran right at the dog.

Thankfully my dog is very understanding. She just gave a few nips in the air to "defend" herself. Haha! What a good Mama that Silkie is. I wasn't sure that she could hack it, given that she is 8 years old! Just amazing...
