My girls would like to hatch out ducks. My incubator does not have a humidity reader on it. So I'm thinking of getting another one. What would be a good incubator for duck eggs?
The same as chicken. They incubate the same as chicken.
Some people have their theories about extra humidity, but a chicken can hatch a duck, but a duck cannot hatch a chicken. Except for Mallards/Muscovy that don’t often swim, so are dryer underneath.

The whole "Have they hatched yet" thread is me right now. Expecting our first grandbaby ANY MINUTE NOW. Actually due the 11th.
Well?!
I saw this on another thread. Something you might be able to make.

They are very similar to chicken eggs, so the same recommendations work. See my tagline for an article I wrote about this. If I were buying my first incubator for ducks, I would get a GQF Genesis. Last time I checked, Cutler has the best deal: https://www.cutlersupply.com/collec...enesis-pre-set-thermostat?variant=28961412555

My dealer brought the stuff.

I already had to add more food because they were upset the level had gone down. :lau I was worried something was actually wrong!
They are moving around, exploring, and seem plenty comfortable.
I’m using small animal bedding. Another member mentioned it a while back, and I thought it would be good for snuggling in. It’s basically fluffy paper. I have not seen anyone trying to eat it, so we’ll see how it goes. It’s not practical for large cages or brooders due to cost, but I might keep using it for newborns.
