Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

it is 30* out right now..can't even believe it. :yesss:
Going out with DH & cutting back/trimming the fruit trees & dogwood.
Will be so nice to be outside & NOT freeze body parts.
Even the pups were enjoying it this morning. After potty time they all just sat down & smelled the air.
You could see the absolute enjoyment on their faces.:D
Anyone else going to be enjoying this weather today??..maybe a good day to clean out coops too???:th
Going to trim stuff up as well. Very excited. :wee

Well, we had a good day despite the snow and DC traffic. This one looked lonely so it followed us home...

390 horsepower for towing and heated seats... what more could a girl want? LOL
Today was repacking the boxes of junk we had pulled out of the old SUV into the new one.... minus a 5 year accumulation of restaurant napkins and plastic knives.... and now taking 14" PTO auger for backhoe over to my dad in Butler county. Along with a couple sheets of plywood he requested I pick up. We had gotten the auger at a farm supplier in Virginua when we went there yesterday. While there we will cut a small load of firewood to bring back home. No sense in dragging an empty trailer back.

I will have to wait to finish cleaning the coop. I’d hoped to eat outside, but someone was too anxious to eat to let me finish telling her we were eating outside. So she is sitting in front of her uneaten food. The food she was “so very hungry” for, and had to eat right away.

Well you tried.
Yeah, we get that "I am starving", or "grandma can I please have a whole sandwich?"..I KNOW I should only make half, because with all the other stuff she has on her plate, she will never finish it.
Not 5 minutes later.."grandma, I'm full...can I have dessert?"...NO LIE!!:barnie
Got to love them though:love

Awesome!!..I should have taken pictures today of what we accomplished. If I can tomorrow...
Got the Apple, Peach trees all cut back to were they should be.
Trimmed and cleaned up the blackberry & red raspberry beds.
Got everything into a hole in the garden where DH will burn later. Wood ash is good for the soil, along with all the other "goodies" it gets from the chickens, kitchen& yard.

BEAUTIFUL!!:drool:love..
I am having vehicle envy right now..love the towing ability!!
Told DH about your 5 year compilation of napkins & plastic utensils. Said he totally understand as we have no-less than 3 years of collecting from restaurants.
Hey, you can never have enough paper products when traveling with 6 year old & 3 dogs, not to mention some times even the adults have a hard time hitting their mouths.:p
Have to go home with a full trailer!! Sounds like you got a lot of fun set out for yourself!
