Hi there!!!
1 full grown Bronze turkey she’s more like a dog! Even plays fetch with them!
2 barred rock chicks
2 white leghorn chicks
3 silkie chicks
3 bronze turkey chicks ( or poults?)
2 sapphire gem chicks
2 ameracauna/Andalusian strains( that’s what rural king told me- who knows what they are?!)

2 buff orpingtons chicks
1 full grown khaki Campbell drake

We have all the babies inside right now- the others are enclosed in an enclosure that’s 32’x18’ to keep them safe!

Kids & animals just seem to go together...like peas & carrots;).

put it to great use as Easter decor on the "new" cabinet DH made for me.:love
Took one of the cabinets from my mom & dad's kitchen remodel & re-purposed it to our 'farm-house' tastes..the top-counter is just on today for our buffet, the real top is still being completed. Has to have the epoxy applied & seasoned yet. It will be much darker.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Have never had 'real' counter space before this. Very excited. Only took 20+ years to attain-obtain.:yesss:
Always have had to use the sink-area.
It is enamel over cast iron.
Also the kitchen table, which is more the height I need because of my 'vertical impairment':p. hahaha
The cord in the pic is going over to the microwave. It had to stay on it's metal cabinet for now. Really thinking about just moving it to the counter. Pushing my luck with not getting caught-up in that cord.:hmm
Also have a tote with the items (toaster/ small food processor/ cutting boards etc.), I have yet to organize & find a new home for.
The kitchen is a bit in disarray, but i guess we have to make disorganized-mess before we can go all "Marie Kondo":bow...:gig
Using the metal cabinets that were housing all the stuff in the kitchen for storing/organizing our seasonal canning/preserving tools in the basement. It is all working out well.
Had to just share all that..hahaha, it is a big -cool deal for me right now.:D

Hey thanks! I grew up in Bellwood!

I currently live next to Bellwood, but just bought a house at Port Matilda. Don't have Chickens yet, but will get them soon. Patton township requires permit for chickens and have ridiculous size limitations for the coop and run. Even We have more than 1 acre, we only allow to have 4 chickens and less than 40 squire feet run+30 squire feet coop.

Welcome from Cambria county, near Patton, PA :)

Congratulations! That will be awesome! Don't worry, all the husbands think we're crazy, then they get over it lol

That's so true.:lau I want to fence the backyard of our new house, so no one can see how many chickens we have. He believe that I plan to have goats and cows hidden there too. I said no, only chickens, ducks, and turkeys. :gigPatton township has chicken regulations, but nothing for ducks and turkeys. Strange:idunno

So we just signed a contract to buy a house at Port Matilda. Unfortunately, it's still in Patton Township, so only 4 chickens allowed. At least that's how many we have to start with. I think we need to build the coop and run and get them inspected before we can have chickens. I'll let Dennis know when we ready for chickens. I guess wouldn't be this year, since I will have to build the coop and run myself with limited help of hubby. I'm not handy at all! :barnie Have to figure out a simple plan to make a 30 square feet coop and 40 square feet run. this size limitation are ridiculous. Especially consider that we have over 1 acre round. My original plan is to buy a shed and frame a section for coop, and then add a run to attach to it.
