Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Just be patient with them. They will figure it out when they decide they are ready.

BTW, my best friend's nephew stepped up to put in my chicken fence!:celebrate I also got a great deal on VCT tile for the coop floor at Ollie's. Even got a half-price floor steamer to take care of it! Don't call me crazy, I already know I am. Feeling very blessed today!:love

Congradulations! I would as happy as you are.

Here's my chicken coop progress: We poured concrete supports for the frame yesterday. We leveled them really good. the lowest one is 12" off ground and the highest one is 37". Not too much progress, I know. But Hubby and I both work full time, and we are still working on setting up our garden at the same time. We hope to have the coop done by end of this year. That way, when Dennis starts to hatch chicks next spring, we will be the first one to line up.

Hello, everyone!

Each weekend, I take my eggs to a farmers market to sell them, share in the education and benefits of our backyard chicken lifestyle, and spread the healthiness and beauty of what our girls lay for us each and every day.

I currently have a flock of 24 laying hens. Although each week I take a decent amount to the market, I would love to have more eggs to bring with me. Everyone that I have sold to so far cannot believe the difference in the farm fresh vs. store bought eggs, and most live in areas where they are unable to have chickens, so they rely on me weekly. Currently, I am in the process of possibly acquiring more chickens for the upcoming year, but in the mean time, I wanted to reach out to see if anyone in the area (western PA) has any excess eggs that they would be willing to sell to me so that I could add to my weekly market supply.

I look forward to feedback :)

What a good idea! I wish I could help, but I'm in eastern PA.
