I was technically expecting it because the beginning of March is when my notes say it’s always happened. I just can’t wrap my head around it though. I actually got an egg!!

He told me a few days ago it would be hard to reach him until Sunday afternoon because of his dad’s funeral arrangements. I messaged him too. Please be patient and I’m sure he will get back to us when he can.

I'm back home and doing pretty well. Replied to both of you.
Set 213 eggs tonight. 50 are cochin bantams. My excuse is they were less than 60% fertile last week.
Love cochin bantams, especially the frizzles, they look like little mops.

Glad that you are doing good. I saw a cochin bantam on NY state fair and absolutely love her. Unfortunately, I cannot have any rooster, so I cannot have them. I don't like frizzle though. I just don't like that look.

I am planning to grow out some cochins to sell pullets. I don't like to do that for most breeds, but they are small, so eat less and are sexable pretty young (about 3 weeks).
