I went to tractor supply to get some pine shavings and make sure that they will be open. There are lots of people having the same concern there. Luckily, they will be open. Then I came home to find one silver welbar having pasty butt, so had to give her a bath. She wasn’t very happy but didn’t fight at all. Very good girl. I will keep a eye on her. My son named her Blue Bear. We used to have a Bielefelder named Bear by my son. I don’t know why he likes to call chickens bear

I had two bales of straw delivered by the local landscaping supply. He was a jerk as usual. I got them down to the coop before the rain, and without killing myself.

I just saw talk of shutting down liquor stores. It made me panic more than anything else about the shutdowns.

My best friend works for Fine Wine and Good Spirits. They are shutting down for 2 weeks. It was all hands on deck today to handle the extra traffic.

As for Lowe’s, when I worked there about 8 years ago Lowe’s was considered an essential store during winter storm conditions and was required to remain open. However, I would think the definition of essential would depend on the type of emergency.
