Good morning everyone!

I am looking for a good home for some black bantam Orpington cockerels. They are 7 weeks old. They are very respectful of both humans and the girls. They will be 3-4 lb at maturity.
The young cockerel's:

:gig I have a camera shy chick. Two hens ran outside, and I rushed in to get a photo of all six chicks. One popped under the hen as I bent down.

The three guineas that live behind me (and the fox or whatever won’t eat :rant ) brought two BR hens today. I have been offering scratch, but only because it’s getting them to be quiet. I have not heard them since I began tossing scratch their way.

Yesterday was a long day, had to head to our barn property and fix a drainage problem. Hauled the backhoe and dogs over to get the job done. Years of silt and debris had blocked up a drainage run along side of the access driveway and nearly completely occluded the old pipe under the drive.
First had to dig out a bunch of rotten logs and debris that had dammed up the flow about 30ft upstream of the culvert pipe. Mindy was snoopervising...

She apparently approved of the removal of the dam and improved flow

Then we had to open it up around the drive so I could uncover the pipe for removal and replacement...

And finally... after... though I need to go back to add stones to prevent wash outs and gravel the drive, but it needs to settle for a while first.

@TillyPeeps
Yep, the dogs (and I) were muddy messes... but old blankets and a 5x8 area carpet make it workable since I always have my rear seat folded down in the SUV. It creates a flat, wide open cargo area for dogs and tools. Blanket pulls out for quick washes and the entrance area rug gets pulled a couple times a year for cleaning with a rug scrubber.
The dogs went straight to the tub when we got home, much to their disgust, lol.
