Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

There’s apparently a fawn in my yard. The neighbors keep messing with it (picking it up and petting it). I’ve been avoiding going outside (avoiding the neighbors:lol: ), so I have not seen it.

I made cheese today from my goat milk. First time I made it. Can not wait to try it. 1 has salt, pepper, and chives. 1 has salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.

Hello!

My name is Chet Ernest and I am a PROUD parent of two beautiful pekin ducks both 5 years of age. It is my intention to bring an adult duck-friend to my now lonely pekin duck Bubba. I made a video on YouTube that will sum up their life from baby ducklings until now... big adult babies.
To Watch Video:

There are more Videos on my YouTube Channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyzXRwed2Vrhx-11T6gimuQ

If you watched the video you know Bubba is now all alone and needs a companion around his age. He’s been very sad and depressed about the loss. If there is anything you can do to help me find an adult duck around his age 3-6, you would be practically saving a life of a beautiful soul. Please help and I want to thank you so much for your time and effort! You have no idea how much you are appreciated!

THANK YOU!

Chet Ernest

I hate to be the one to say this, Chet, but it might be a little difficult for us to help if you’re still in WV. We’re all in PA on this thread. Did you try the WV thread? How far are you willing to travel? If you already considered these things, chalk this up to a “duh” moment and feel free to ignore.😊 Good luck in your search for Mr. Right-duck.🥰

Hey, lookie folks! My 5/21 hatchlings are growing so fast, I had to build them a new brooder!

God bless and forever thank yous to the Walmart stocker who let me take all those cardboard boxes!😄 Just try to get a refrigerator box from Lowes anymore, they never have them and they are RUDE! My bitties are SO happy to have some room to run around, and tomorrow they get to learn about sand-bathing!😲

They are feathering out so fast! It’s awesome!

I always love watching chicks grow up, but it makes SUCH a difference when you hatch them yourself! Thank you Jesus!🥰❤️✝️

On top of that, my barred Cochin, Maggie, FINALLY committed to brooding about 2 weeks ago. She usually sits for a day or 2 then drops it. This time she means business. She only has 2 eggs, a Marans and an Easter Egger, both with my Easter Egger roo. We’ll see how she does. Problem is, NONE of the girls are laying normally because of this one broody. I only got 4 eggs yesterday from 11 hens! (Sigh) This too shall pass. I’m really looking forward to seeing how Maggie does as a Mom.🥰

You named your Cochin after me? D'awwwww. My Laverne is pretty committed to her 2 fake eggs and the others also are not laying. I only have 2 saved up to put under her so far. I'll give it 2 more days and what ever I have, I have.
