Thanks to the snow plow, the snow by the road is deeper than two feet. My b-i-l tried to drive through it in a little car. Duckling said she told him not to do it, but he thought he could. :gig
It’s Christmas Eve since idk when I’ll see her again. I’m off to write Santa’s “thanks for the food” letter.

They are on a cement block covered in straw.

I am not going to feel bad for posting so much. :p
They kept following me, but I stopped, and so did they. After about twenty minutes the ones in the back wanted in the front, but the ones in the front wanted back in. No one would move! So, Duckling said she’d rescue them, but started shoveling towards them. When I went down, they were following me again. We switched, they were skeptical, but began following her. When our paths met, they went right up the hill with her.

Tomorrow is going to be fun. The rain I’m hearing about would be two feet of snow! :th Then 1-3” of legit snow at night before an arctic Christmas. I’m moving the bbq grill as soon as the snow around it melts so I can have steak on Christmas.

I used to work Christmas on purpose. :D I liked working in a store that didn’t sell alcohol. I wasn’t so lucky when I was 18, and living in Ohio. I only had one sad drunk pull a gun on me on Christmas, but I was able to handle him.

With the kids grown and celebrating separately, I plan to get some things off the "honeydew list" on Christmas day, and the weekend.

I think I need to start wearing hearing protection when I'm working around the guineas. Has there ever been a case of Guinea-induced hearing loss? They are so loud! I am rethinking my great idea to keep them in the pen in the corner of a large metal shed. I think they taunt me because they must know how loud they are.
