Really? I don't know you can plant strawberries so early. I have some strawberries from last year and hope they will survive the winter with mulch. I ordered more this year. They will be here on middle of April.

I saw Sam's has lots of edible plants. I really want to get the hardy kiwi plants, but thought it's too early. All my strawberry plants are day nuetral type, so I can have some berries everyday for the family and chickens. My chickens are so spoiled and wouldn't touch store bought berries. I have strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry plants in my yard. They even wouldn't bother to pick the berries themselves. I have to pick the berries and hand feed to them. :hmm

Is it too early to take the heater out of my fish pond and get the filter going?
Keeping in mind that water takes longer to cool down and heat up, I would think it’s okay. The days are in the 40s, even when the nights dip into the 20s. I wouldn’t think it would be cold long enough to cause an issue.
