Need them for quail, they are the birds that bang their heads on the top of the cage. Need to be padded helmets also.

Hershey Jr, the lavender ameraucana chick, fell sleep in my hands. This is the most friendly batch of chicks I ever had. Everyone except one black ameraucana slept in my hands.The only chick doesn’t like to be hold is still calm and friendly.

Looking for suggestions -- my frizzle, about a year and half old, keeps losing feathers. This started last May but I thought it was her just getting broody and plucking some feathers. it is getting worse. I don't see any mites. Any advice?

Increase her protein. I mix my feed with 2:1 layer and all flock. Also give her scrambled eggs and tuna. Have you noticed any undigested food? Have you wormed them recently? How do her poops look?
