You are killing me they are beautiful!!! Luckily I don't have room for a new breed well as of now I don't!! :p keep telling myself I need to get thru one winter with my Cochins before I add to them. Plus I think I'm gonna get wheaten rosecombs because my daughter loves them, she calls them ear phone chicks!! Gotta love what a 3 yr old comes up with. But I def like your birds!!

GardeninMama! Your first broody hatch?! Congrats, how exciting! I have been separating my broody mamas from the main coop, I then can feed her and the babies medicated chick feed as she won't be laying any eggs for a few weeks anyway. Then they all get grower feed.

Sally, isn't your goal to have company for a lone chick? I may have some MF Banty Cochins hatching out in the next week or so. I've got a broody on a clutch and could part with a chick or two if it will help you out (as long as she does actually hatch this time). I'm near West Chester.

Motorcyclechick, You're completely cracking me up with the anniversary gifts. My birthday is coming up....a barn sounds good.

Blarney! There are a bunch of us from this corner! Ray, Sally, lil brownie and myself are all in Berks Co. Wing is outside lancaster, Geez! A new flock is closer than you expect. A new Blarney flock in a day
