Yes, the wire is 2X4. The poultry netting was added after I had a couple escape through the 2x4 wire. I just never removed it.
If you are referring to the outdoor run, the main frame/posts are from the lean-to that use to be there (just like the other side of the barn). I "temporarily" (4 years ago) used 2"X4"s to give additional support to the wire. The outdoor run is not exactly the way I want it, but it needs to come back down so I can re-side the barn.
The wire on the outdoor run is the same 2x4 welded wire, 6' high.
