I dont know..... Toyota claimed that exact thing when all the other stuff happened. Sure you could turn it of or stand on the breaks till it stalls but everyone is not that smart an it does not change the fact that there junk is buggy.

I am still waiting to see how this all irons out. We as consumers have been lied to before by big companies who are only out to make a buck at our expense.

I haven't been following these cases very closely, and I don't know if that guy is lying or not, BUT the company is saying that when the gas pedal is stuck and accelerates uncontrolably that if the driver applys the brakes while the gas is stuck, that the engine will shut down and the car will turn off. If that's true, then why didn't that trick work with all those other accidents?

I dont know why the guy just didnt shift to neutral and get over to the side of the road like a normal person would have done seems like someone is just trying to get money from a big company to me.
