Hi guys for the last month or so I have been selling out of all my quail, ducklings, chicks and fertile eggs is this happening to you because I have not been able to hatch so many eggs at once and it seems there is a even higher demand for pullets it probably because They don’t want to run out of eggs or meat, is this happening to you. also what do you guys think will happen to the chickens and everything else after the panic buying dies down will people start giving them away or something please let me know about your experiences

Theres going to be alot of chickens, quail, and ducks for sale or free after the panic dies down.

I bought chickens now simply because I've always wanted them and finally had the time to build a coop, run, and have time to raise the babies. Maybe others are doing the same?
Don’t know but I have never sold out so fast I usually have a couple spare and grow them out and sell as pullets of add to my flock but now I can’t even hatch one batch with out selling to everyone in my waiting list and people come to my house to pick up and are always asking if anything else is available I have now put a limit on the amount of chickens per person

Even the farm stores and TSC that carry chicks are sold out. People who sell meat rabbits have are selling like crazy. Goats, sheep, pigs, the same thing. Its panic over the food supply.
Doesnt help that the AR people are teying to end animal ag. I bet with all the news reports about milk being dumped, thousands of chicken, pigs, and soon, cattle being euthanized, they are happier than a fix in a hen house.
BTW, PETA$$ bought stock in Hormel. There goes your pepperoni and cold cuts.

Definitely happening on my end. I had people asking before I even hatched if they could get some. The moment I posted them up, with half the day, all 60+ chicks were scheduled to be sold... Never sold them so fast ever. People are also buying the eggs for both eating and incubating like crazy!!! While I'm loving the business, I know its also because of the pandemic. I can only hope that these people will learn to see how great chickens could be after raising them.
