It's costing me money.

I was happy with my rescue (??breed??) chickens and my TSC (??? breed???) chicks.

But someone rhapsodized about Buff Orpingtons. Well, I had to order some. And then I heard about Easter Eggers- well, I NEEDED some of those. I read about Cuckoo Marans and Welsummers, and they are being delivered in a few weeks. I know if I could find Black Copper Marans, I would buy them too.

But I don't have any Wyandottes; I am beginning to think that is a problem.

Do you see what is happening to me? Perhaps if you all stopped telling me those wonderful stories and posting those amazing pics, I could go back to life before BYC.

It is an epidemic, I was at a big Rural King yesterday and their chicken aisle was cleaned out. Only had some little red plastic feeders left and a couple of metal ones and that was it. . .I think its wonderful that more and more people are getting back to the land, and starting with chickens!!!
