I've been so worried about Ginja and all the sandburs and cactus we have around here, for the most part I've kept her in our back yard, and on the driveway.
I even wanted to buy her some boots!
Yesterday I decided to take her on a long walk around the property with the kids, we went into the trees and through long grass, all over.. Ginja got a couple of burs, and one piece of cactus stuck in her fur - and she now takes them out herself, she jumps around a bit then bites them and pulls them out - no squeeking or crying, she just takes care of them and continues on her way!
She had a BLAST walking around, sniffing everything, crawling on her belly to get under the trees to sniff - she really enjoyed herself! A real TOUGH cookie!
Let me tell you - this girl is a WHACK JOB. She came out with me as usual to open the chickens and feed the horse and goat. She went NUTS - she was running circles in the snow, charging around like her pants were on fire.
She then started playing with a GOLF BALL, and diving around in the snow like a LUNATIC.
