People Who Expressed Interest in my Heelers- Update on Post #786

No problem Wildsky. We have started letting the boys play with them more and today was their first day out around chickens. My two year old really manhandles them if we don't watch him really carefully, but he really is just trying to love them. One fell asleep in DW's hand today laying on its back.

BTW- did you hear the rooster crowing the whole time in the background of the movie? He is my SS roo- the daddy to your chick. He didn't like all the noises coming from all of us outside so he let us know the whole time we were out there.

LOL - yeah I heard the roo - too funny - mine does that as well..... if I go outside to talk on the phone (so the kids don't keep asking me questions) the rooster won't shut up!

My daughter is 4 well almost 5, and I do have to remind her to be gentle, she insists on picking up that little chick every chance she gets!

Right- they will actually start leaving here when they are six weeks old, but I have yours that will have to wait two weeks plus two that are going to Utah when the buyer comes to get them at 8 wks.

I think I may have to move to Idaho soon, we are thinking about moving out of state in a few years..any farms for sale

Oh yeah- there is a place with a little acreage just down the road from me. There seems to be quite a few places, especially now that the market is stalling.

Is he the daddy to my eggs in the 'bator? All of them are developing! I hope I get a good hatch. Now all 3 of us will be related by chicken and dog.

Yes he's the daddy- Mack is his name- you know, like the truck. He is a little ornery but not so much that I will part with him yet. We will all be related now you are right. That's cool!
