Sadly, LAN only works for people who live near you. They have the be on the same Wi-Fi access point as you, if I'm not mistaken. So none of us can visit.

Good luck. Do you know whether you computer is powerful enough to handle it? Knowing that now might save you a lot of frustration later.

I have a fairly new computer (1 year old) and I'm pretty sure it can handle it c: I am going to try the demo first anyways. I might get it a little early

then me and you could play in skys sever and play capture the flag i love playing that and the TF2 map on there but the tf2 map is down right now

You'll gain muscle memory of the controls fast. Trust me, Minecraft is the first game I've ever played that makes heavy use of the keyboard. I caught on pretty fast anyway. the "W" and space keys are your friends, and shift is your protector.

Within the first day, I was killed by 2 creepers, met an Enderman (*shudder*), and found a random chest. LOL

I'm beginning to get it now. I have a half hour left of my demo. c:
