I've found this project to be very entertaining. I build something, my mind thinks up more backstory related to what I've built, and I get inspiration to add something else. For a long time I thought creative mode was boring, but now I'm really seeing the fun of it again.

Livestock, storage, sleeping quarters, and a sickbay are built. I've been playing with this world for a few weeks now. e

Want depressing flourescent lighting? try setting powered redstone lamps in the ceiling and placing grey glass underneath, like this:

... I also still havent found out how to install 1.6 mods yet.. :/ My computer didnt accept forge in the first place we ended up asking my sisters friend to E-mail the file over to me and now it works so im not sure how it will be with updates and stuff...

It's a 1.7 snapshot feature. 1.6 really didn't add many items to the game.

minecraforum.net has lots of mods that are fairly trustworthy. You do know how to install mods, I'm assuming?

I don't really use Forge, and I have a feeling your computer is pretty different from mine, so I don't think I can help ya much. Good luck though!
