Hahahaha I was only using it as an example because it's stuck in my head after seeing it up on the recent posts page daily!!! And yes, I understand that people post on those so much because they're fun and sometimes goofy, but it seems like many people ONLY post on those! Which is fine, I'm not trying to be the forum police or anything, it's just that important questions sometimes then get bumped right out of the way. Personally, I think I use the search button ten times more than I actually post here and it does drive me slightly nutty when I see the same basic questions that people could easily find the answers to elsewhere posted over and over and over again. Sometimes certain questions are a bit too specific to search for answers, or newbs may not know appropriate terms to search for, etc.

I do try to answer questions when I see them and know the answers, but I have only owned chickens for a year and there's still a ton for me to learn, so scrolling through every single unanswered post as Redhen suggested after my "complaint" wouldn't really be very beneficial, nor do I have that kind of time to spend on the internet.

I never said that you were complaining.(i was making a general statement about people complaining..)... but you can take it personal if you'd like. Thats on you.
And as you said.. you answer the ones that you KNOW... as i think each of us does...
Actually, i'll go one step further and say... until the day that BYC pays me to answer threads..i'll answer what i choose to.
