People who post and can't wait for 10 minutes

Personally, I think I use the search button ten times more than I actually post.

Hi! If anything said needs repeating, this is it.
Before this incarnation of BYC even existed --- I dropped a gate on a Silkie hen. Her leg was shattered like a sock full of broken spaghetti. I didn't ask for "HELP" for the incident, but calmly did a quick search and found the information. I got her got her splinted within minutes and on the appropriate aspirin dosage for pain and inflamation.
MUCH quicker than if I asked and waited for someone to pleaseplease come along and 'answer my question'. The information was right there at my fingertips and I was greatly appreciative that someone had already been through the situation and the questions had been answered in depth.
I don't frequent the emergencies forum, because it's generally depressing.
Good luck!

The only problem I find with the search is when I type something in it comes up with 10 pages of auctions.

Hi! If anything said needs repeating, this is it.

This, this, this, this! I love that search button! There have been threads here on almost everything imaginable. The only times I usually post questions that I want help with are usually when it's some oddly specific circumstance.
