So far, the only bad thing about having Finn in the house is his fighting and the occasional poo escaping his diaper (and landing on my bed, of course).

I put his diaper on as soon as I wake up and right before I put him to bed. I usually change it once or twice a day. Where did you get your diapers from, kendradillion?

Kyle is my Bud-dy! Go Kyle. I found something disheartening today. I went to feed and water the girls and Marilyn was laying on her left side in a pile of poo. I stood her up but no deal she cant walk and stands on her head. She is very alert and active when I let her alone too long. I fed her some yogurt and am worming her and all the others. While I was bathing her, I saw worms in the poo but not a ton, just a couple. She is also my non laying hen. I think she has a hormone problem bec she didn't mature like her sis. She is eating and drinking and watching tv. I am trying to keep her off her side, warm, clean fed wormed and hydrated. I will also give her yogurt again later...she loves it. Right now my girl is dozing on a pillow in my lap in front of the heater.

Thanks for that. and thanks to @tacampbell1976 I just tried to say the truth. I hope Marilyn gets better. Tv and pillows, The best medicine! Good luck with her.

It has been wayyyy too quiet around here today, so I'll add something.

My vacuum died two days ago, so I'm massively annoyed. Going to pick up a new one after work.

Marilyn is walking a little better but no idea what her prob is unless she got pecked in the head! She has a great appetite, very determined. Did hop out of the tote I put her in last night! YAY! She is more ornery today too, lol. Makes me happy, but sad I dont want her to hurt herself. I do exercise her frequently, but have to give her water by syringe bec I have no more waterers lol and she thinks I am nuts when I offer water in a bowl! Lucy has been missing her very much, she is honking/clucking up a storm ...sorry Lucy Had to do dishes when I took a break in my online college classwork...Marilyn made a mess and got a bath in lavender baby bath

Rover is doing great. Buckbeak hasn't laid an egg in about a week. Sapphire, my araucana, I just figured out is my calmest little hen. I (rather impulsively) decided to take her into the kitchen to hang out on my lap for a little while. and she sat there and let me pet her adorable little beard. Then My aunt awarded her with a raisin bagel (which she ate passionately)It was nice to know she could act like a real house chicken! My four big hens usually like to flaunt their independence.
this afternoon my two rabbits had some time to hang out on the table. (when it was warm they used to go outside all afternoon digging impossibly deep holes) They certainly make the best centerpieces. I will get some pictures of them, they are pretty great bunnies!
Dayle, my rescued squirrel, Got a new little fabric log looking bed nest thing that she loved. Immediately started to line the floor of it with shredded paper.
And the dogs, well, they did their own things most of the day. nothing unusual.
That was my pets' day!

and chickie momma, I'm so glad Marilyn is doing better. let's keep up the healing. "MORE T.V. MORE PILLOWS." lol, The image of that make me happy!

Marilyn watched a movie while I was doing college work. "The Land That Time Forgot" . It put her to sleep. Lol she growled at the little jack russell today it was soooo funny. I didn't know chickens did that!!! The silkies prefer to run the cats away from their food bowls lol They love honey bunches of oats too. Put my fluffies up so the cats could eat, now the cats are much happier. My lab ate Marilyn's food earlier when I was washing dishes...wth?? I made up more feed with egg, oatmeal and yogurt and a sprinkle of scratch. TY Kyle....lots of lap time pillows and kisses also exercise per Marilyn's insistence. Drunken chicken circles.....uggghhh

chicken growling seems to be a theme today. Rovers favorite thing to do is growling at us whenever we're too loud for his liking. I read about three posts today where someones rooster is growling
