people with house chickens

How did you get your ducks to be so friendly? I had 4 ducklings last year and held them every day, let them run around on my lap, but still they all flocked away from me every time. Chickens, no problem - it's just the ducks.

Our ducks run away from us too. Marcy here will run away and squawk like she is being murdered if you try to pick her up, but once you do she is such a sweet baby. We didn't really do anything, this was the first time she was picked up (on Sunday was the first time, I mean.)

He stayed behind because we had to make a few other stops. I think this weekend we are going, and I'm planning on bringing him.

There are 3 more to hatch but their dates arent until March 7th. The second baby is getting perkier...so glad about that! :jumpy

Awesome!!! I'll tell you, baby chicks are a lot tougher than we think. It's just amazing!

Speaking of babies hatching, I've got baby #4 juuuuuust starting to pip as of about 30 mins ago. Anyone wanna see if they can guess hatch time? We could make it fun!
