For a bird who spent many hours in a dark closet in his previous home, PepBird is especially social. He's not even afraid of the Crazy Chicken Lady.

I call him my naked-neck wannabe. He still has a bald spot from where he previously self-multilated

We are whistling Dixie. Good thing I don't have any neighbors.

PepBird was jealous of the new baby and screamed at the top of his voice when ever the baby cried or when the parents attended to the baby. He had been the only 'child' for a while and did not want any competition for their attention. To keep him quiet the owners put his cage in a closet and closed the door whenever he grew noisy.

I can tell he was at one time a well loved bird. He is very curious and loves to socialize.
