Great, thanks for the info! I gut out the peppers and stuff them with cream cheese, yum! I’ve haven’t really thought about letting my chickens eat the insides until yesterday. I never feed them anything but fresh produce from my garden as treats, no human food here!CHICKENS CAN EAT HOT PEPPER LIKE CAYENNE AND SOME PEEPS DO GIVE IT TO THEIR CHICKENS. Chickens do not have taste receptors like our tongue has. The peppers you have sort of look like jalapeños. You are removing them from your consumption.
The small amount of seeds remaining I don't think is such a valuable amount of chicken food asset.
I personally do not feed anything to my chickens that I would not eat myself.
I also do not feed sweets, salty items, or spoiled food.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,![]()
Great! I gut peppers all the time so my chickens will get treats whenever I do it. Thank you!I've fed my peppers the innards of both hot and sweet peppers, sometimes by the bucketful with sweet pepper guts. They seem to enjoy them.
I figure even if they don't eat the hot pepper bits, they make spook the squirrels who hang out in the run sometimes.
