I have had one chicken named Pepper. He was a Game cock and he like Dr. Pepper. It was a accident to find that he liked it, but then we tested him about it. We poured Dr.Pepper and Mt. Dew simultaneously on the ground near him. He tasted both of them and jammed his beak in the Dr. Pepper.
It was hilarious, and my DH dubbed him Pepper. We tried him a time or two after that, but he always preferred the Dr. Pepper.
10% of the people who own ducks call one of them "Donald". And 50% of the people who have a Pekin name it Aflac.
I was across the aisle from a pen of Pekin at the county fair and I can't begin to tell you how sick I got of hearing idiots shouting "Aflac, Aflac, Aflac" at the ducks. It went on all day, every day.
of the 100s of chickens I've had, none have been named "Pepper"... but next time I have a real nice black one with flakes, that's what it will get named....
