The top of the short roost bar is 5-1/2" above tray bottom and the taller roost bar is centered on and 13-1/2 above tray bottom. Roost bars are 1-1/2"x3" laid flat. My 10 week old pullets have no problem making the jump up.

My poop board has 3 galvanized trays (total 84" wide x 36" deep) with Sweet PDZ about 3 feet off the ground. Then I have 2 - 2x4 roosts set at about 4 feet and 5 feet off the ground, 12" from the wall, 12" in between roosts and 12" from the front of the pan so I'm sure all the poop lands in the Sweet PDZ pans. (The ramp, if they choose to use it, has since been fitted with cleats.)
