About the closest you'll get to a "true" pink with daylilies are "Barbara Mitchell" and "Fairy Tale Pink". These are older, very affordable varieties. Both hedge on being pastel rather than a "bright" pink. Both are very beautiful flowers.

I'm not 'brave' enough to order any of the new intros from any of the bigger hybridizers (yet), but I did get a couple from a 'small' hybridizer. There are so many amazing cultivars now, they take my breath away.
I like to mix everything in my beds, as I'm not a 'serious' collectoer of anything, I just get obsessions with certain plants

My longest running obsessions have been roses and hostas. Most of my roses are ORG's or David Austins, but I have been adding good moderns the last few years also. I use no chemicals, so they must be reasonably healthy with out them.
Love the Trimmer daylily in the other post

My wife just said I could take out one of our rose beds for daylilies! Woohoo! To give you some background, my grandparents owned a daylily nursery before they passed, with about 1000 varieties. I grew up working for them as soon as I could walk. I just bought my first house last year and started my very own daylily collection. I've looked at the lily auction site but never purchased... I bought a few orders directly from hybridizers this year though.
