Perfect timing...broody Australorp right before vacation?

We going away for a wk and usually *I* pick her off her "nest" and steal the eggs/throwing her off and hoping to break her but haven't been able to...SO, our neighbors picking the eggs up...but what do I do bc he most LIKELY won't pick her up and get the eggs underneath her.

yea I'd say let her brood lol, who don't love little baby chicks.. and you can either sell them or find them homes? heck Drive to West GA and drop one off with me
