Even though they are in a run and can pick up a pebble or two you should always provide chicken grit and crushed oyster shell. This way all the food can get ground up nicely by the gizzard and the oyster shell will keep your egg shells strong. It's also good for their bones. If they don't have enough calcium in their food or supplements like oyster shell their bodies can steal it from their bones.

So glad she is doing better!
