I have a cat that goes out during the day. He lays out with the chickens, he ignores them and they ignore him.

My cats did a similar thing in the hay room where one of the hens decided to lay. The hen would just step around the cat and sit right next to him. I was surprised that the cats didn't try to catch the chickens. (City Folk thinking there I guess )
