I really think you need to get something to insulate the floor. All of her heat is going out of her feet since she can't keep them warm properly with cold air coming up from below.

There is a poop pan below them. It was also 60 degrees today, not sure if that’s still too cold or not. I’m not sure what to put below them that wouldn’t defeat the purpose of the wire and pan.

60 degrees isn't cold to them. During winter, you need to put straw or something down to keep them from the draft.

At this point, it doesn't sound like the cold is the problem. Is there a chance you could take one to a vet for general disease testing?

I wish. We have lost a chicken here and there that I considered sending for necropsy. We haven’t been able to find a vet that would help.

I did put some small hideaways in the run for them today. I think I’ll find some scrap plywood and add to what I have in the run to cover more of the wire for next winter.
