Periwinkle myrtle (Vinca) in the run

I think it's got to go, but DON'T SPRAY IT! You are just putting horrible things into the ground and any other plants that your chickens will be digging around in. You wouldn't want them eating that junk, plus that junk will go into the eggs...ew.

You might have to get down and dirty and dig it up.

Anny, do you have any experience with plants like honeysuckle, kudzu, autumn olive, multiflora rose, vinca, virginia creeper, poison ivy? Digging that stuff up instead of spraying is a lifetime job. You will get nothing else done and will probably never eradicate it.

I have 100 acres. There is no way I will be able to even make a dent without use of chemicals even though I would prefer not using them.

Just have to protect your chickens while it's being treated.

* but worst of all is the Brazilian Pepper TREE a.k.a. Florida Holly. . . . .the Independence Day Alien Mothership wouldn't be able to kill the thing, I don't think. . . . .
