PERKY POWERHOUSE'S "IN THE CHUTE" EGG-- REALLY POINTY!!

* Does that indicate anything about her health to anybody?? Since she's only my second chicken, I don't know how usual or unusual pointy eggs are. I broke it to check for fertilization. Seemed not. Nice orange yolk with 2 pinhead-size white spots is all.

The first few eggs they lay can be rather odd shaped. After awhile they'll lay larger and more normal eggs.

I've had some od my layers lay some very strange shaped eggs before.

One of my Australorps lays a torpedo shaped egg!
