Permanent discoloration after foot injury, normal?

About 2 months ago my hens middle toe was missing 1 scale and the surrounding scales had blood under them. There was bleeding, but it stopped the same day. No idea what happened to her toe. Her whole foot now is discolored, she is perfectly healthy. I was just wondering why her whole foot is now discolored and if its normal.

I have no idea, but bruising looks like that. Maybe it is taking time for the blood that perhaps was leaking under the skin to be reabsorbed. Maybe someone else knows a reason.

It's strange, maybe it is blood that traveled around, seems like it would've gotten better by now though. If it ever goes away, I will update this thread to let everyone know. Whatever it may be isn't bothering her, so it's okay if I never find out. I also noticed a small feather trying to grow out of that same leg a couple of weeks ago, i pulled it and it hasn't came back. None of the other chickens have had that. Maybe it wasn't just her toe that got injured, maybe it was her whole foot. She never had and trouble walking, so I thought whatever happened wasn't that bad.
