Got an issue with hen fleas and cat fleas ATM. Was considering getting permethrin for treatment of the hens. From what I've read Is to spray the fleas directly and also to make sure to get it on the chickens skin. Primarily on comb, vent, and under wings. What I'm wondering is how often to spray the hens? 7 day minimum like elector psp or what? Already started treating the coop and roost with other things

can it be sprayed around the eyes safely on 3 plus week old chicks
No.

If you need to put some around their eyes, I'd put a little on your finger and wipe it on them. If it gets in their eyes, it can cause irritation and you'd need to rinse their eyes with a saline solution a few times.

Your three-week-old chicks got mites, I presume? I'd tend to think the powdered permethrin would work better for chicks, but if you've just got the spray, I'd use my hand to apply it on them.
