Permethrin v. Pyrethrin

Dear Campingshaws, Do you remember what percentage of pyrethrin was in the bottle before you mixed it with water? Was 5 years ago but would love to know. Thank you!!

Hi! I don’t remember exactly but it’s the small bottle that tractor supply still carries, in the fly repellent section. I want to say there’s a “10” on the label art.

I have a flock of hundreds of birds. I use permethrin spray in the coops. I have used the spray and dust on the birds. I buy this and spray the coops thoroughly, every crack and crevice. I spray weekly for a few weeks because it does not kill the mite eggs. I do put dust in the nest boxes and have dusted the birds. I use a gallon sprayer.

If there is no pests I don't spray but when I see some I start my spraying regimen.
