Personal opinions on favourite breed and why, please comment so I can have a idea of which is best

Hi really impressed with those sebrights especially the golden ones and vorweks, would you roughly know the prices of them?

I love my little Modern Game Bantams, though they might not lay as much or as large an egg as you are wanting. They are sweet, friendly, and gorgeous...the supermodels of the chicken world!

My Cuckoo Marans is probably my friendliest large breed pullet, and Marans lay pretty dark brown eggs. Speck follows me around the yard and talks to me constantly. She's not a *cuddly* bird, does not want to be petted or held, but she is definitely curious and personable.

I have no idea, they are a little bit pricier than your average chicken since they are a bit rarer. Any chicken that is expected to do well in shows will cost more. You will just have to do a little looking around.
Another chicken breed that I can't believe I forgot to mention are seramas. Seramas are the worlds smallest chicken and come in many different colors. They even come frizzled and silkied but expect to pay more for a silkied serama or a frizzled serama than for a smooth one.
I've seen silkied seramas go for $150 or even more.

I'm also fairly new to chickens my girls and guys are about 10 weeks old. I got a few of several breeds for different traits. Can't give any laying feedback, but for personality, in my flock, the Barred Rocks, both hens and rooster are the friendliest. Always come running to me to be picked up and loved on. My Easter Eggers are probably the next friendliest and others are warming up. They all come running when I say "chick, chick, chick" - they are so programmed - they know that means treats are to follow. The more time you can spend with them the friendlier they will get. Maybe not the leghorns - have two - avoid me at all costs! You'll love watching the interactions of your flock and get much comic relief. Good Luck
