That about wraps it up right there, mine stay where I want them until they see something that does not belong then they will persue it, if they go to honking my dogs will go see what is going on, I have a couple dogs that even walk with the peas in the early morning when they sence a wild critter is in the area, these past few days it has been a bobcat, lots of land clearing going on and it is running some of the wildlife my way.Zaz is really the expert on this topic.![]()
But I think free ranging depends on factors such as:
What kind of predators do you have?
How close to a road are you?
How close are you to neighbors and what kind of neighbors are they?
Are you around all the time to keep an eye on what's going on?
No matter how much land you have, you can't necessarily control where the curious peas will wander off to, and you don't want them to get into trouble...
